Indian Institute of Management CAT Result 2017 Expected Dates This is the Educational News for the people who are eagerly waiting for the Common Admission Test Results 2017. IIM Lucknow will declare in the second week of January 2018.  The score  will be available online only. Candidates can check   score card by entering their login credentials user id and password. Candidates can check their section wise, overall scaled scores and percentiles secured. IIM Lucknow will send SMS to the registered mobile numbers of the test takers mentioning their overall percentile. The conducting department, will not send the hard copy. Candidates have to download the score card, take printout and preserve it till the admission process is completed.  scorecard is valid only for one year ( till  31 st December, 2018 ). The percentile and scaled scores are calculated on the basis of normalization process. Based on Common Admission Test result 2017, IIMs and other participating institutes announce shortlist for the final selection process. #CAT ( Common Admission Test) was held on November 26 in two sessions. Out of 2,31,607 applicants 1,99,632 candidates have appeared for the test.

Paper analysis of Slot 1:

The pattern of the forenoon slot was very much on the lines of  2016 - the number of questions across sections remained the same as that of last year. This would have come as a huge sigh of relief for all aspirants as the conducting (in this case IIM Lucknow) had not disclosed the number of questions per section.

Paper analysis of Slot 2:

The pattern of the afternoon slot  was similar to that in the morning slot and very much on the lines of 2016. There were no surprises in the paper in terms of the pattern.

The IIMs release short list and will ask the aspirants to attend the further rounds (Most have further rounds).

Further Rounds after Shortlisting to IIMs:

The rounds will be based on each may consists of all or some of the mentioned rounds. The GD - PI was the most common procedure for final shortlisting of the candidates.

The candidates are advised to check their registered email regularly to know if they have obtained a call from the IIMs. You doesn’t need to apply for any again. But some recent IIMs may send you email asking you to tell whether you are interested or not
