Uttar Pradesh Police 2018 Admit Card and Exam Pattern, Syllabus Details


The recruitment process is in total two rounds like written exams, physical efficiency test (PET)/ PST. Exam have all objective multiple choice type questions. The question paper carrying total 300 marks. Question can come from subject like general knowledge/ general Hindi/ numerical& mental ability, mental aptitude, intellectual gain and logical ability. UPPCL Stenographer and Office Assistant 2017 Online Applications and Exam Pattern


Exam and Paper Pattern: The written exam will be conducted in the first half of September 2017. Selection process will be based upon both written and typing examination and candidates are required to appear for both the exams. The written test(CBT) will be held in both Hindi and English.

1st Round will contain 50 CCC level questions of NIELIT each carrying one mark with negative marking of 0.25 marks.
2nd Round for Office assistants will contain 180 questions carrying 1 mark each with 0.25 negative marks and this round include  questions on.


  1. General Knowledge (25 m)
  2. Logical reasoning (45 m)
  3. General Hindi ( intermediate level) (55 m)
  4. General English ( intermediate level (55 m)



2nd Round for Stenographers also  will be on the same topics as mentioned above but only difference is on weightage of questions on language will be 65 marks rather than 55. The final results of this recruitment will be available within 1 or 2 months after exam date.The department will upload result of every applied candidate in their official web page only.

Application details : The application fee is Rs 1000 for general category candidates; Rs700 for SC/ST candidates and for Physically Handicapped Category Aspirants only Rs 10.The application fees for those of other state Applicants Rs1000  and the interested candidates can apply from July 25  till August 12-2017. Total posts available for Office assistants grade III -2403 and for Stenographers grade III – 260.The application fees said above is non refundable nor non adjustable.
